I was so excited when I was asked to capture some shots for the “A” family to announce their impending arrival. They are such a fun and free-spirited couple that they make my job not only easy, but super fun. Unfortunately mother nature wasn’t on our side and we were racing against the enormous storm clouds that were hanging over head, but we still managed to get some great shots! Congratulations “A” family what a wonderful journey that you’re about to embark on!
Some of my favorite images are from the shoots that are thrown together in a half hour without much throught. Despite the 85 degree weather and 100% humidity (at 7 pm might I add) my sis in law decided it was a perfect evening to pack up the kiddies, throw together some mish-mosh outfits (usually the best kind) and head out the door to meet for a Father’s Day impromptu photo session. Clicking the camera is one of my favorite ways to relax and forget about the world, no matter how uncooperative the littles are being I still love to see those couple of shots that make it all worth it!!
What a little love Miss. “V” was, 14 days new and adorable as ever! I couldn’t wait to take advantage of all the amazing greenery around her house, but mother nature had other plans that day. The rain clouds were low and heavy, but luck was on our side. The rain held off and Miss. V was out for the count which allowed for one fabulous newborn session!
Summer session of our Wednesday playgroup started this week and I couldn’t wait! As Mason gets older I feel like he enjoys the playground and new friends more and more. I love watching him interact with new little ones, preferably the out stretched hand to help another little guy up the stairs as opposed to the meltdown of wanting to play with the ride-on car that he just can’t grasp isn’t his. But it’s all worth it in the end, sweaty and tired usually equates to a great afternoon nap which is totally worth running around in 90 degree heat for!
